Salary: up to £21.58p.h
Location: Basildon area
Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, working rotational shifts as follows:
- Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6 am – 2 pm & Friday, 6 am – 1.30 pm
- Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1.45 pm – 9.45 pm & Friday, 1.15 pm – 8.45 pm
As CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing products against designs and to quality standards.
CNC Machine Operator Key Responsibilities:
- Loading materials and unloading finished products
- Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as required – adjusting speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
- Carefully following procedures and safety guidelines. Including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
- Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs. Machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
- Ensures machines are well stocked with tools and material to ensure limited downtime
- Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
- Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
- Works appropriately with Teams Members
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications & Experience:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
- Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
