Pertemps are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Engineering Machining and Maintenance with a focus on Electronic systems based in EssexThe ideal candidate must possess the A1 Assessors Award and V1 Verifiers Award. This role involves teaching Level 2/3 general engineering students, ensuring high standards in marking and tracking learner progress.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality instruction in conventional machining techniques, including lathe and milling, as well as CNC techniques and maintenance principles.Teach electronic systems and components, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject.Prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Level 2/3 general engineering students.Assess and mark student work accurately and in accordance with established standards.Track and monitor learner progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in engineering machining and maintenance.Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.Support students in their academic and professional development.Qualifications:A1 Assessors Award and V1 Verifiers Award (mandatory).Proven experience in conventional machining techniques, including lathe and milling, CNC techniques, and maintenance principles.Strong knowledge of electronic systems and components.Experience teaching at Level 2/3 in general engineering.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Higher education degree in Engineering or a related field.Previous experience in a similar teaching role.Please apply with an updated CV or email
