We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, HR administration, and employee relations. This role is crucial for ensuring HR processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with employment laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment, and a passion for improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:- Employment Legislation: Keep managers informed about new employment-related legislation and its implications.
- Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process from drafting job descriptions to coordinating interviews and issuing employment contracts.
- Employee Relations: Support managers in managing the employee lifecycle, including handling grievances, disciplinaries, and exit interviews.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- HR Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with legal requirements, maintain employee records, and conduct necessary checks.
- Performance Management: Assist in setting performance goals, supporting the appraisal process, and implementing performance improvement plans.
- General HR Duties: Engage in HR meetings, streamline HR systems, and ensure best practices.
- HR Administration: Manage confidential records and prepare HR-related documentation.
- Compensation and Benefits: Support payroll processing and manage employee benefits programs.
- Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent; degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in the aerospace industry or with autoclaves is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships.
