Do you have experience managing a despatch department
My client are one of the largest international independent manufacturers of aerospace detailed parts and is recruiting for a Despatch Operator who as knowledge of Export.
Purpose of role and key accountabilities:
- A background in running a dispatch department would be highly advantageous.
- Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts
- knowledge of export requirements to Europe and USA and to chase and track deliveries an advantage
- Works well in a high-pressure environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build a strong team with a good working relationship with other departments
- Strong administration, organisation, and IT skills
- Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts
- Responsible for undertaking all export shipments, including communications with couriers
- Ensure all KPIs, targets and safety objectives are being met or exceeded in department

- Excellent time management skills, methodical worker with high level attention to details.
