A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Road Freight Trainee to join their team. This is a 6-month maternity FTC position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying 22,308 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Creating and processing of Groupage shipments on your assigned services
- Ensuring client's needs and expectations are met
- Assisting in customs clearance of exports and imports
- Invoicing for in a timely manner
- Obtaining and preparing of documents for our Customs team to process
- Filing
- Liaising with our overseas agents
- Providing excellent Customer Service, using emails and phones as appropriate
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Road Freight Trainee position:
- 1+ years office, admin and secretarial experience
- Transport/Logistics experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proficient in using the Microsoft packages
