We are seeking a Network Architect with a strong technical background and proven pre-sales and bid experience to join our dynamic Networks Practice. This role is ideal for someone who is a team player, eager to learn emerging technologies, and capable of creating innovative network solutions that meet challenging customer requirements. You will work closely with Delivery Executives, Solution Owners, and customers to produce design documentation for a variety of complex changes and bids.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collaborate with Solution Architects and vendors to deliver high assurance services and solutions.
- Produce High-Level solutions and designs that meet or exceed customer expectations using technologies from a variety of industry-leading vendors.
- Create and be responsible for estimates including Bills of Materials (BOMs), licensing, and effort based on chosen methodology.
- Support the Lead Bid Architect/Solution Owner in defining designs in line with requirements.
- Provide input into reports to the customer and Lead Network Bid Architects as required.
- Work on bids and/or medium to large complex changes, ensuring all solutions are innovative and effective.
- Demonstrable experience in creating innovative network solutions and offerings tailored to customer requirements.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales role, working closely with customers to derive requirements.
- Ability to produce high-level solutions and designs using a variety of technologies from leading vendors.
- Experience in producing estimates including BOMs, licensing, and effort calculations.
- Solid understanding of network and routing protocols.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams including Sales, Bid Managers, Commercials, and other Technical Architects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, take ownership, and demonstrate attention to detail.
