We are a dynamic and forward-thinking financial services organisation, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, planning, and regulatory compliance, as well as expertise in leading finance transformation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to support the future growth and development of the finance function.



The role

The Management Accountant will play a vital role in the growth and development of the Finance function at L&C, and ultimately the wider business. They will help support top level strategic decision making and both short- and long-term financial planning, through comprehensive financial analysis and reporting. They will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather input and provide insight into forecasting, recommending actions to optimize when required. They will also support the preparation and submission of company tax returns, as well as submitting regulatory returns whilst ensuring compliance is met.


They will lead the Finance Transformation Programme, including the implementation and upgrade of the General Ledger system, overseeing the introduction of a new expense claims system, and driving the redesign of finance processes with a key focus on efficiency and control across the function. Throughout the project they will act as a main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on progress and resolving project challenges.



FCA certification regime & conduct rules

L&C is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is classified as an Enhanced Firm under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role is subject to the 6 FCA Conduct rules and you will be expected to adhere to them at all times. (See below). Any confirmed breaches of the Conduct Rules will be reported to the FCA annually. Should you apply for a Certified role in another financial services firm then L&C may be required to disclose this information in a Regulatory Reference request.

About you

As a qualified accountant youll have ample experience with preparing accounts and statements, providing key financial analysis and commentary, helping the business make those all-important financial decisions. Youll need demonstratable expertise with building financial plans and forecast modelling, as well as strong knowledge with regulatory tax compliance.


Were looking for an adaptable and dynamic individual to help transform our finance function, so significant project management experience is a must, particularly with transformation programmes. Youll need to be results driven and proactive, working with relevant teams to identify and combat any potential issues and implement improvements. With acute technical and influential qualities, youll cascade your knowledge to guide, support and encourage a high performing team
