EYFS Room Leader / Preschool Manager - BA1

My client, a thriving independent prep school, is seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Room Leader to join the school on a permanent basis. This full-time role is a perfect fit for someone eager to make a meaningful contribution to a school who value inspirational teaching and learning in a caring, supportive and inclusive community. You’ll have the chance to build strong relationships and help guide the school’s youngest students through this crucial stage of their education.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Caring for children: Ensuring children are happy, healthy, and safe
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment: Providing fun activities and games to promote learning and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
  • Supervising staff: Mentoring and training staff members, and ensuring they are working flexibly to maintain adult:child ratios
  • Building relationships: Developing positive relationships with parents and carers, and communicating with them about their child's progress
  • Support individual children and groups with emotional, physical, and educational needs, including those with special needs

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Passionate about early childhood education and committed to pupil progress.
  • Skilled in using creative teaching approaches to inspire young learners.
  • Strong ability to manage classroom behaviour while creating a safe and stimulating environment.
