Experienced Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Role in Bath

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bath on a long-term basis. This exciting opportunity runs from February to July and offers the chance to make a real difference in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom setting.

About the Role

* Start Date: February 2024* End Date: July 2024* Pay Rate: £85 - £90 per day* Location: Bath* Hours: Full-time, term-time only

Responsibilities Include:

* Providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.* Supporting small groups with reading and other activities.* Assisting with general classroom duties.* Encouraging pupil engagement and learning progress.

Requirements

* Experience: Must have previous experience working within a primary school setting, preferably with KS1 pupils.* DBS Check: A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).* EWC Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).* Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
