Reed Business Support in Bath is delighted to be working in partnership with a small independent firm in Bath in their search for a PA / Executive Assistant. Working in stunning offices in the centre of Bath your role will be to support the Director.    

This is a Permanent role

Part-time – 4 days per week (24 hours per week) ideally Monday to Thursday (inclusive)

6 hours per day

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Typical daily duties:•    Serve as the first point of contact for the business, managing emails and phone calls.•    Provide a professional and welcoming experience for clients, manage communications, and highlight important messages for the Director.•    Manage diaries and organise meetings and appointments. •    Handle meeting logistics including client reception, room bookings, and refreshments.•    Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email queries.•    Arrange travel and accommodations as needed.•    Assist the Director by reminding them of important tasks and deadlines.•    Prepare reports, correspondence, and manage documents. •    Maintain databases, filing systems and manage office supplies.•    Liaise with external suppliers to ensure operational needs are met (phone, IT, printer/copier services).•    Co-ordinate with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.•    Maintain the firm's website with the help of the website provider.•    Undertake additional duties including some HR and marketing tasks, compliance monitoring, and implementing effective procedures and administrative systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Highly organised with excellent communication skills.•    Quick problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to office management.•    Experience with accounting tasks and familiarity with Xero software.•    Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.•    Experience in managing external supplier relationships and office administrative systems.
