Personal Assistant - Property - Rare Opportunity!

Overview

TSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading South West law firm who now have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide key administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Residential and Commercial Property.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for clients and other parties when the Head of Department is engaged or unavailable. Responsibilities will include:

  • Opening new files and ensuring compliance with conflict checks, identification verification, and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Efficiently drafting, producing, and amending legal documents as instructed.
  • Liaising with HM Land Registry regarding registrations and assisting in resolving any requisitions.
  • Ensuring accurate electronic filing and record-keeping of transactions.
  • Scheduling client appointments and coordinating meeting room availability.
  • Organising virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams or other platforms where necessary.
  • Retrieving and reviewing archived files for post-completion queries.
  • Handling confidential matters on behalf of the Head of Department with discretion.
  • Demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently when required.

This role also involves collaborating effectively with colleagues within the Residential and Commercial Property team and across other departments within the firm.
