Exciting Opportunity: PA / Executive Assistant in Beautiful Bath!

Our client, a vibrant independent firm located in the heart of Bath, is seeking a talented PA / Executive Assistant to join their team. Imagine working in stunning offices right in the city centre, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Director.

Position Details:

  • Type: Permanent
  • Schedule: Part-time – 4 days per week (24 hours per week), ideally Monday to Thursday
  • Hours: 6 hours per day
  • Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Your Daily Adventures:

  • Be the welcoming face and voice of the business, managing emails and phone calls.
  • Ensure clients have a professional and warm experience, managing communications and highlighting key messages for the Director.
  • Organise and manage diaries, meetings, and appointments.
  • Handle all meeting logistics, from client reception to room bookings and refreshments.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email queries.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations as needed.
  • Keep the Director on track with important tasks and deadlines.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and manage documents.
  • Maintain databases, filing systems, and office supplies.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to meet operational needs (phone, IT, printer/copier services).
  • Coordinate with the payroll provider for accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Maintain the firm’s website with the help of the website provider.
  • Take on additional duties including HR and marketing tasks, compliance monitoring, and implementing effective procedures and administrative systems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Quick problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to office management.
  • Experience with accounting tasks and familiarity with Xero software.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in managing external supplier relationships and office administrative systems.
