The Role: The successful Junior Project Engineer will manage and implement several engineering projects according to the department's priorities. Your other responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the specification of engineering requirements for projects
  • Contributing to finding and selecting equipment or service vendors
  • Management of vendor performance
  • Supervise project subcontractors on and off-site
  • Producing detailed and accurate project costs
  • Preparation of monthly capital and revenue project reports
  • Play an active role in the operation of the engineering department

About you: The successful candidate will be from an engineering process or manufacturing background with a background in maintenance or some engineering project experience. Other requirements are:

  • A formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • An understanding of manufacturing or process engineer
  • Driven to progress and develop
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience in Project Engineering (Desirable)
