Location: BathStart Date: 27th FebruarySalary: £85 - £90 per day DOEDuration: Ongoing
Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? A welcoming primary school in Bath is seeking an ASD Support Assistant to join its resource base, supporting children with ASD and related needs in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
What you will do:
- Provide tailored support to children with ASD, enhancing communication, social, and emotional skills
- Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering engaging learning activities
- Assist with behaviour management and daily routines
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
