We are delighted to be supporting a long-standing and niche business in Suffolk, who are now seeking a Buyer to join their large and diverse workforce!

This company will also fully fund the successful candidate in gaining their Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) professional qualification, or will cover the remainder of the cost if already part way through.

Buyer Key Responsibilities

Negotiating / renewing procurement contracts
Maintaining stock levels
Achieving Savings targets
Supplier research / sourcing / relationships
Purchase order administration

Required Experience

Previous experience in a similar fast-paced Buyer position, preferably within manufacturing
Supplier negotiation experience
Knowledge of procurement systems & processes
Order expediting & progress chasing
Experience with procurement budgets & targets
