We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team in a leading manufacturing & production business based in Bedford. This role will provide critical financial insights, support cost control, and drive profitability through financial analysis and reporting.

Description
Management Accountant
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Conduct cost analysis to monitor production expenses and improve efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, standard costing, and cost variances.
- Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and work-in-progress (WIP) analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with operations, production, and procurement teams to ensure cost control and efficiency.
- Provide financial insights to non-finance teams to drive business performance.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in finance or related field.
- Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £37,000 - £44,000, dependent on experience.
