They are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper who can join their team in Bedford.

What’s the Role?

  • Processing supplier and debtor invoices
  • Balancing accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of bookkeeping records and VAT returns
  • Preparation of purchase ledger payment runs
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Posting of bank income, expenses and preparing reconciliations
  • Posting journals
  • Assisting with month-end routines
  • Preparing financial reports and dealing with financial paperwork
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with external clients

What you Need:

  • Knowledge of Xero, Sage and/or QuickBooks
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • VAT knowledge
  • Accountancy practice experience dealing with multiple client accounts
  • A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping and account management experience

Qualifications:

  • AAT (preferred)
