Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a skilled Customer Support Executive for one of our longest standing clients based in Bedford, who work within the automated solutions of the engineering industry.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Support Executive with a genuine interest in engineering and account management. The ideal individual should be comfortable being on the phone and receiving regular client calls. They will need to also be resourceful in getting internal info to get answers back to customers and be collaborative with other teams within the company so business runs smoothly.

Customer Support Executive Job Overview
  • Answering incoming phone calls, with an emphasis on nurturing customer relationships and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Communicating with internal teams to provide solutions for customers as queries arise.
  • Responding to queries in general sales inbox
  • Communicating with customers regarding orders, payments etc.
  • Gaining familiarity with other office roles to help with cover e.g., order processing, purchasing admin, shipping orders.
  • Contributing to the office team by taking a variety of tasks as the workload requires.
  • Dealing with logistics issues.
  • Maintaining records on internal software systems.
Customer Support Executive Job Requirements
  • Experience working in a customer support / account executive position - preferably within engineering and manufacturing.
  • Good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Experience communicating regularly with clients and customers.
  • Open to working closely with other teams within the business.
  • A product background within engineering / manufacturing would be more transferable - but not essential.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Bedford.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferable.
Customer Support Executive Salary & Benefits
  • Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 - DOE.
  • Working hours - full time position - (42.5 hours per week).
