Stock Removal Operative

Premier Work Support are recruiting for a temporary Stock Remove Operative to assist with furniture removal within a retail store. The role will involve manual labour, including heavy lifting and moving large furniture pieces. This is a short-term position with the following responsibilities spread over two days.

Key Responsibilities:

Day 1:

• Assist in the removal and disposal of old furniture from the retail store.
• Lift and carry heavy furniture and other items from the store to designated areas.
• Ensure the store space is clear for new furniture installation.

Day 2:

• Unload furniture from delivery lorries.
• Move and position furniture into the store as per layout and instructions.
• Ensure all items are securely placed in the appropriate areas of the store.
• Assist with any additional tasks as required to support store setup.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture and items.
• Previous experience in manual labour or similar roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Hours of work:

• 3rd March 2025 - 08:00-17:00.
• 4th March 2025 - To be confirmed, flexibility is required on the second day due to the time of arrival of new stock coming in.

PPE:

• Safety boots and hi-vis are required for this role.
