Early Years Teaching Assistant - Flitwick, Bedfordshire - Full-time - ASAP Start

Are you an experienced Early Years Educator looking for a role in a mainstream primary school starting ASAP?

Tradewind are currently working with a small mainstream school in Flitwick who are looking to recruit an Early Years TA to join their small team on a full-time basis. You will be required to work between the hours of 8:30-3:30 during term time. The successful candidate must be available for 5 days a week.

Our partner school is a small, tight knit community school who run an Outstanding Early Years setting where the individual needs of each child are paramount to everything they do. You will have a number of key children and you will be responsible for tracking their progress, feeding back to parents and helping formulate plans to facilitate progress. You will be joining an experienced team who work collaboratively to ensure a fun and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track progress of the children in your care.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment within early years
  • Collaborate with other early years staff to ensure the smooth running of the setting
  • Make the most of every interaction with the children within the setting
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team

About you

  • Passionate about working with children in early years
  • Previous experience, either personally or professionally, with children with SEND
  • Able to commute to Flitwick
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Available full-time - 8:30-3:30 minimum
