Thorn Baker are currently working with a large Facilities Management company, to recruit an experienced cleaning account manager, based on outskirts of Nottinghamshire.

The role has been developed to enhance the service levels for the client and support the supervisory team from a more senior level.

Build and lead a team to deliver a first-class service across the portfolio, taking ownership of the workplace and the daily operation. Develop people, relationships and build engaged and enabled teams that are empowered to act, to take the lead on continuous improvement, sustainability and Health & Safety.

The role includes but is not limited to the following.

  • Your key building responsibility will be to deliver a First-Class service to our client for all the contract cleaning.
  • To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with the key people within the client’s team
  • Hold weekly team meetings with direct reports ensuring policies and procedures are followed and requirements / expectations are fully communicated at all levels
  • To assist in the recruitment of employees, to include but not limited to appraisals, interviews, training and HR relevant documentation and HR processes
  • Supporting management/ supervisors from other shifts may be a requirement from time to time.
  • Review best practice and present new ideas to keep ahead of the cleaning industry 
  • Preparing management information, including but not restricted to Budgets /KPI’s /SLA’s
  • Attend weekly & monthly operations meetings as required and present the collated information
  • Ensure customer service is at the heart of the way the services are delivered
  • Carry out audits for our client ensuring KPI’s are meet and exceeded
  • Deal with reactive situations and the development of an agile workforce
