Senior Data Analyst

REED Technology are delighted to represent an excellent organisation who due to continued growth and expansion are seeking to add a Senior Data Analyst to their team.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead the new data analytics team at their headquarters. This pivotal role involves advanced proficiency in Power BI and strong leadership capabilities, aimed at enhancing the Information Management Team's impact on the business.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs within deadlines.
  • Develop and manage advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide training and guidance on best practices in Power BI report development and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs that align with ISO 9001 standards, ensuring the organisation meets its quality management objectives.
  • Recommend and implement optimal storage solutions for BI reports, ensuring easy access and data security.
  • Establish and maintain a structured process for the storage, retrieval, and archiving of BI reports.
  • Design and enforce a thorough review process for all reports and dashboards before release.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and report customisation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
