Employment Law Solicitor

REED are working with a well-established Legal Practice with a focus on representing members of a variety of Trade Unions. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Law Solicitor with approximately 2-3 years post-qualified experience. The firm has been operating for 24 years, comprising 2 partners and 18 staff members, and is located in the heart of Belfast City Centre.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle a variety of employment law cases, primarily focusing on Trade Union claimant cases
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in employment disputes
  • Prepare legal documents, case files, and briefs for counsel
  • Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunals
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in employment law
  • Strong understanding of employment law and procedures
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
