Employment Law Solicitor
- Annual Salary: Circa £40,000
- Location: Belfast City Centre
- Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible working options available)
REED are working with a well-established Legal Practice with a focus on representing members of a variety of Trade Unions. This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Law Solicitor with approximately 2-3 years post-qualified experience. The firm has been operating for 24 years, comprising 2 partners and 18 staff members, and is located in the heart of Belfast City Centre.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle a variety of employment law cases, primarily focusing on Trade Union claimant cases
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in employment disputes
- Prepare legal documents, case files, and briefs for counsel
- Conduct research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles
- Represent clients in Employment Tribunals
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in employment law
- Strong understanding of employment law and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
