SF is recruiting for a Financial/Management Accountant position based in Derby, offering a salary of up to £40,000.
This permanent role includes flexible working hours and the option to work from home for two days a week.
Candidates should have month-end and management accounting experience, including VAT returns, and ideally be part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
The position involves producing monthly P&L accounts, managing operational expenditure systems, and supporting the finance team with various reports and audits.

Job duties: Producing monthly P&L accounts on a site-by-site basisInvestigating and analysing variancesFinance for “non finance” people- helping the site managers understand the key drivers in their accountsManagement of operational expenditure system MossProvide support and resolve queries from staff Production of Weekly and Monthly KPIsVarious ad-hoc reportsQuarterly VAT returns with partial exemption calculations requiredProvide support to Financial Accountants and other members of finance team as required.Involvement in budget processingInvolvement in annual year end audit

The ideal candidate will have the following: Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by experience Must have Month - End and Management Accounting experience (Including VAT Returns) Ambitious and looking to make a change/improvements Sage200 (Desirable)
