Job Title: Biology LecturerWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Lecturer to join our academic team.   • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, ensuring that teaching aligns with the curriculum.
  • Provide support to students in both academic and pastoral aspects, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and update teaching materials to meet curriculum requirements and enhance the student learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Participate in assessments, marking, and providing feedback on assignments and exams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development, improving teaching methods, and implementing best practices.
  • Contribute to the institution's wider activities, including recruitment, open days, and promotional events.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Biology or a closely related subject.
  • A strong passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Previous teaching experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with staff to deliver the highest quality of education.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
