SEND Teaching Assistant required for Primary School in Berkhamsted
I am currently working with a lovely school in Berkhamsted who are urgently seeking a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Trauma specialist) to support one of their primary-age pupils to start immediately.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working with students from a challenging background is a must and supporting primary-age children
- The application should have a strong understanding of the challenges facing those with Social, Emotional Mental Health issues
- Those with direct experience supporting young people with Mental Health issues
- You may have a background in a similar school, residential setting or with social work or youth work
- Have a positive mindset, flexible approach and a can-do attitude
