Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in food technology to students across various year groups.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the food technology curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching food technology at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for food technology and a commitment to student success.
