Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, confident and motivated individual to lead and develop the office operation of a fast-growing family business with great potential.

The office supervisor will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the office, providing on-going support to staff and ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and productivity.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Assisting and supporting the management with day-to-day tasks
  • Lead and provide support to small sales and accounts teams, ensuring day-to-day administration and office tasks are completed timely, accurately and to a high standard.
  • Assisting management with the development and implementation of strategies
  • Provide reports and updates to management
  • Problem solving with customers and suppliers
  • Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency
  • Health and safety co-ordination and implementation
  • Software systems, paperwork and general system implementation and monitoring
  • Support, plan, assign and delegate, accordingly, ensuring tasks are completed on a timely basis and to a good standard.
  • Additional duties may be added in line with the progression of the role
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in an office management position, you will have supervised staff and been a responsible and effective decision maker.

The skills required for this role include:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written,
  • The ability to manage and hit deadlines,
  • Exceptional organisation skills with good attention to detail,
  • You must have the ability to identify, implement and see projects and improvements through to completion
  • Effective leadership and discretionary and confidentiality skills
  • Decision making ability
  • An energetic hunger to take proactive ownership of tasks and projects
