Position: 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant (Year 6)
Location: Wallasey
Hours: Part-time (Mornings), then full time.

The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 student transitioning back to school. This role will involve working closely with the student, teachers, and parents to provide personalised assistance and facilitate a smooth and successful return to the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1-2-1 support to a Year 6 student, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the student remains engaged and on task.
Implement individualised learning plans and adapt materials to meet the student's needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the student's confidence and self-esteem.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
Encourage and support the student's participation in school activities and social interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of the student.
