An Outstanding 6th Form College is currently seeking graduates to work as learning coaches across their college and play a vital role in shaping the minds of their learners.

This position is perfect for anyone with a degree and looking to start a career working with children or young adults.

We are looking for graduates who genuinely care about the well-being of young people, especially those with SEN and can show empathy and kindness in their approach. Starting August 2025, this term-time-only role and has the potential to run for the complete 2025/26 academic year. Perfect for a graduate looking for one years paid work experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
  • Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
  • Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting pupils in social and emotional well-being.
  • Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.

In this role, youll provide practical learning support to their learners under the guidance of the class teachers and college SENCo.

You will need:

  • Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
  • An interest in Further Education or SEN.
  • Degree - 2:2 or above. Any subject
  • Have high expectations of teaching and learning.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
  • To have good communication skills
  • To be confident, self-assured and happy.
  • Be keen to develop as a professional
