We are working with a fantastic accountancy practice based in Birmingham city centre who are actively looking for newly qualified or finalists to join them at an Audit & Accounts Senior. This role typically is around 70% Audit and 30% accounts.

Your role as an Audit & Accounts Senior:

  • Working as part of the corporate team, you will support the Partners and Managers to deliver strong quality audit and accounts work.
  • Review and prepare client accounts, tax or VAT-based work and undertake renumeration planning exercises.
  • Liaise with clients remotely and on site to obtain relevant information and raise areas for additional services.
  • Manage your own workload by ensuring quality and processes are in line with timescales and agreed budgets.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or a finalist with a maximum of 3 papers remaining.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience of both audit and accounts and a good knowledge of tax.
  • Experience of auditing software such as Xero.
  • Enthusiasm to progress within a growing team.
