Client Details
This is a large organisation within the not-for-profit sector, recognised for its significant contribution to society. They are based in central Birmingham, easily accessible by public transport.
Description
- To ensure a timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers
- To ensure a timely and accurate recording of income
- To perform bank reconciliation
- Production of Management Reports for budget holders and providing analysis
- Support the year end audit
- Provide Management with ad-hoc reporting analysis as required
- Supporting staff and volunteers where necessary
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Proficiency in using Unit 4 / Agresso financial software
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field
