With an impressive global footprint, they are looking to expand their large internal audit function due to increased auditing responsibility from the global group, aswell as organic business growth following a number of highly profitable years.
Description
- Lead internal audit operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee the preparation of audit reports, presenting findings to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risk areas within the business.
- Implement effective strategies to enhance auditing processes.
- Coordinate with different teams within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and practices.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all auditing activities.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Profile
A successful AVP Internal Audit should have:
- Previous experience working within Internal Audit, or externally auditing global corporate clients
- Exposure to financial services.
- Proficiency in using audit tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
