Your new companyYou will be working for a large local authority and be supporting their Oracle Implementation for Oracle Fusion. Your new roleYou will be working as a senior level interim and have strong systems accountant / manager experience to support their Chief Accountant (DS151) in the design of the organisations chart of accounts including the finance data structure including cost centres, organisation structure, posting rules for organisation's finance systems.You will also advise and support in the preparation, reporting and monitoring of revenue / capital budgets and final accounts.Responsibility for advising and assisting on the Oracle implementation Programme and Income Management System project to ensure successful delivery.Be a key interface between the Oracle Finance and HR systems team and the chief accountant and Deputy S151.What you'll need to succeedExperience of Oracle Fusion implementation Experience of reviewing a chart of accounts set up and create a clear and easy process to map how things get coded and mapped in Oracle FusionQualified accountant Experience of local authority systems accounting and ideally financial accountingWhat you'll get in returnOn offer is a 6-month assignment with the opportunity to help define an organisation's future systems set up for their chart of accounts. There are 2 days per week of working on site in Birmingham to work with the wider project team and embed yourself within the project.
