Trainee Accountant Birmingham£22,000 - £23,000
Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client a well-established firm in Birmingham. The firm are eager to recruit for Trainee Accountants to complement the existing team and continue the success and growth experienced thus far.
Role Requirements -
- Bookkeeping
- Draft quarterly VAT returns
- Draft reports covering client business issues, systems and controls
- Prepare management accounts
- Analyse client records
- Draft and prepare client accounts
- Draft client tax computations
- Prepare final accounts packs for review by senior members of the team
- Liaise closely with clients and other stakeholders. Keep the relevant manager/supervisor informed of developments
- Assist with general client administrative duties
Person Requirements -
- Ideally some practical accounting experience gained within an accounting firm
- Strong academic grades, GCSE's and A-Levels
- Already studying towards, or looking to pursue, the AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel and any applicable accounting software packages.
