I am recruiting for an immediate start Accounts Payable position for an organisation based in central Birmingham. The position is based in Birmingham and will be on a temporary basis for around 6 months.

Description
The Accounts Payable Assistant's duties will include but not limited to:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling account inquiries from internal and external sources
- Making sure invoices, payments, and transactions are correctly recorded and entered into the database
- Resolving account discrepancies and issues
- Preparing and processing payments for vendor invoices and other financial transactions
- Documenting and updating accounts payable procedures
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
