An ambitious and expansive organisation has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for an Assistant Accountant in Birmingham City Centre. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be part of a cohesive team who are collectively working as one unit. You will work closely with Management Accountants who will be able to help you with your development and assist you with your duties. You will be completing reconciliations on the balance sheet and posting journals, and helping produce reports for senior management. As you grow in this role, more responsibilities will be available.

Skills Required
  • To have experience posting journals such as accruals and prepayments and to have experience completing reconciliations on the balance sheet.
  • To be an ambitious individual, someone who is excited about taking on new responsibilities and developing their experience and abilities.
  • To be either currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have strong intentions to start your studies.
  • To be a confident and charismatic individual, there is a real opportunity here to develop your skills and become an integral part of a growing organisation, its important to communicate in a confident and effective manner.
