Associate Transport Planner
Our client, a well-respected consultancy, is looking for an Associate Transport Planner to join their growing team in Birmingham. The Role:
As an Associate Transport Planner, you will manage and produce technical transportation studies related to new developments. This role involves hands-on project work as well as business development, client management, and team leadership. You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with clients, and playing a key role in shaping the company's success.

What You'll Be Doing:
路Preparing Transport Notes, Statements, and Assessments, Travel Plans, and Site Access Appraisals using Microsoft Word & Excel.
路Applying junction capacity modelling using ARCADY, PICADY, and LinSig.
路Designing access, junction improvements, and highway schemes using AutoCAD.
路Conducting Swept Path Analysis with AutoTrack.
路Creating high-quality graphics using GIS packages or Corel Draw.
路Managing projects, clients, and key stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery.
路Preparing client briefs, fee proposals, and contributing to business development.
路Supporting the team in achieving company-wide growth targets.
What We're Looking For:
路Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning.
路Strong experience in development-focused transport planning.
路Knowledge of local and national transport policies and guidance.
路Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
路Membership (or working towards) CIHT, ICE, or a similar professional body.
路A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
