Our client in the Solihull area is looking for a Sales Admin to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

  • Hours of work - Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 17:00 / Friday 08:00 to 14:00

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service with existing customers via, calls and emails.
  • Monitoring & distribute group inboxes to appropriate departments.
  • Responding to telephone, email, and web queries in an efficient manner.
  • Liaising with customers and colleagues to resolve technical queries.
  • Making accurate cost calculations in order to provide customers with quotations.
  • Sales order processing using our bespoke in-house software.
  • Data input and analysis using MS Excel.
  • liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Generating and sending O&M Manuals and Method Statements to customers.
  • Tracking costs and negotiating with suppliers to ensure budgets are met
  • Completing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires for potential customers.
  • Processing orders with supply chain for products and materials
  • Monitoring supply chain lead times and delivery dates to ensure deadlines are met
  • Working with the production team in maintaining stock control and re-order levels
  • Assisting with Goods Out & In administration such as preparing and checking delivery manifests and liaising with suppliers on any damaged items.
  • Assisting the daily activities of the Operations and Manufacturing departments as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient with MS Excel, with the ability to input formulas.
  • Experience with submitting Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
  • Submission of quotations and tenders.
  • Keen attention to detail, with data analysis experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly but professional telephone manner.
