Income Recovery Officer

Your new roleThe role of an Income Recovery Officer is to ensure that the provider maximises its income through effective management of rent accounts, service charges & rental arrears, whether that is from current or previous tenants. You will maintain a high level of customer service, which will include home visits & virtual meetings with tenants to support the recovery of rent but also prevention of arrears through tenancy sustainment support. What you'll need to succeedThe successful applicant will have previous experience and good knowledge of rent recovery within the social housing sector. You will also have a good understanding of housing & welfare benefits and the legal aspects of income recovery when preparing court papers where necessary.
