Our Birmingham-based client is looking to provide an exciting challenge and opportunity for further growth for a resourceful, driven and flourishing candidate. This client is a renowned, long-standing not-for-profit organisation and they are market leader within their region, with plans to continue growing in the near-future. The role will be within the fantastic, supportive Accounts Payable team, who are keen to work alongside you and receive your skills and enthusiasm.

To be successful with you application, some experience within the Accounts Payable function is needed to ensure you have an understanding of what's involved. The responsibilities of this role will include ensuring invoices have been organised and processed in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining supplier relationships, conducting reconciliations, monitoring expenses and assisting with month-end duties when needed.

What you'll need:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, which includes collaborating closely with the team and liaising with suppliers
  • The ability to prioritise tasks whilst organising time effectively in order to meet deadlines successfully
  • Experience using accounting and IT software, including Microsoft Excel
  • Some familiarity with the Accounts Payable function, gained through a similar role
