Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist!Birmingham City Centre, Up to £32K FTE, Dependant on experience Part-Time, Flexible Working Patterns

What Our Client Is Offering:

  • Flexible Schedule: Choose from options such as 3 full days per week, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM over 4-5 days, or 11:00 AM-2:00 PM for 5 days a week.
  • Hybrid Work Environment: Work from home with regular in-office days to build relationships with approvers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process approximately 100 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the central inbox for incoming invoices and queries.
  • Ensure all invoices are reviewed and approved by stakeholders before processing.
  • Use SUN ERP to manage accounts payable tasks.
  • Set up and execute payment runs via banking systems.
  • Ensure payment authorisations and make adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of automation tools like robots.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders through effective communication.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven background in Accounts Payable with a deep understanding of manual and system-driven processes.
  • Proficiency in SUN ERP and experience with payment systems like Barclays banking.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in processing invoices and managing payment runs.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, manage priorities, and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively while maintaining the flexibility of part-time hours.
