Legal Cashier Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily banking functions, performing bank reconciliations, processing transactions, allocating payments, and making transfers
- Update and maintain the accounting system, ensuring all customer data is accurate and up-to-date
- Handle and process accounting transactions, including journal postings to the general ledger
- Ensure accurate allocations by undertaking various reconciliations
- Support credit control duties, ensuring no outstanding monies are owed prior to closing customer accounts
- Raise invoices for customers and legal aid
- Maintain billing and reporting Excel spreadsheets
Legal Cashier Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience as a Legal Cashier, with experience gained in the legal sector and an understanding of SAR
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, able to update and maintain a variety of spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail, able to pick up on discrepancies and work with accuracy
