Commercial Manager - Transport & Warehousing

Birmingham / Manchester

拢70K - 拢80K + additional benefits

We are currently supporting a leading 3PL in their search for a Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for driving and developing new revenue opportunities together with methods and processes to increase business profitability and customer experience; whilst promoting the company's values, beliefs and branding.

Responsible for the Commercial & Sales team, ensuring the team provide exceptional customer support experience, developing an inspired and future thinking team to support the growth of the group.

Key Responsibilities

路 Managing customer relations and existing business

路 Nurturing existing customer accounts to uncover incremental volume

路 Review and develop current and new customers and revenue opportunities including contract reviews.

路 Profiling and developing an in-depth knowledge of the customers and the profit opportunities

路 Enable best practices, trends and sustainable objectives that will help shape future strategies

路 Working closely with the departments and team to develop new launches to a customer brief or specification

路 Developing new business in line with company's strategic growth plan

路 Forecasting sales volumes

路 Working together with relevant departments to develop accurate and consistent bids

路 Establishing sales targets and ensuring that a company meets these

路 Provide Performance Reports against agreed targets to the Director and attend regular review meetings.

路 Achieve agreed sales targets, with desire to exceed these through inspired approaches.

路 Manage and lead the commercial and sales team effectively

路 Maintain effective communication, consultation and information between the Commercial and Sales Team and other departments.
