Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and development of the values and strategic goals.
  • Oversee all operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, building a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Lead on-site project management, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Monitor progress, assess quality and safety, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of materials and labour.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Pump experience – Desirable
  • Hydraulics experience – Desirable
  • Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
