Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment and development of the values and strategic goals.
- Oversee all operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, building a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve financial and operational targets.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead on-site project management, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Monitor progress, assess quality and safety, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of materials and labour.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Pump experience – Desirable
- Hydraulics experience – Desirable
- Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
