M&E Project Manager

Working for a Tier 1 contractor, acting as the M&E Technical assurance for various infrastructure projects in the Water and Energy sectors

Location: - UK wide

Hybrid working:- 2 days a home, 3 days a week on-site.Full travel & Lodgings provided.

Salary: - £65,000 - £80,000 basic + Car + Lodgings + Package

(Salary depends on a Project Engineer stepping up to an experienced Technical project manager)

Role Description

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a National Tier 1 contractor working across the UK & Ireland on various infrastructure projects. These cover Water frameworks, National Highways, Structures, Aviation, Flood defences, Energy and Rail projects.

This role is focused on the Water and Energy schemes looking at the M&E elements. Within Water MEICA is the key focus whereas for Energy HV is the more critical area. The key thing is that you will be exposed to both and looking to develop your M&E skills for any project.

Your role is to oversee the M&E delivery from a technical perspective, checking in with the operations and technical teams acting as the technical assurance. Adding value when issues arise but also to spot problems before they become critical to the project. With in the Water and Energy sectors the M&E elements can make or break a project, hence this organisaiton growing their capabilities to mitigate risk.

With a mixture of self-delivery and external specialist contractors this role is key as the interface from the design consultants to Special contractors to site delivery teams. Giving a different perspective on the scheme and ultimately leading to a successful commissioning and hand over to the client.

This role would be perfect for a Project engineer looking to step up or a Technical professional that has been on site and wants to move in to more of a advisory capacity for a project.

Required Experience

  • Full Mechanical or Electrical qualification be it from an apprenticeship or ONC / HNC / HND / Degree.
  • Experience in delivering an M&E package of works on site, you need to understand the issues that could occur on a project.
  • Full driving license
  • Able to lodge away 3 days a week on-site.
