We are currently seeking a Project Manager with expertise in Customer Experience (CEX) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering CEX projects that significantly improve the customer experience. This role is suited to a dynamic individual with a track record of managing complex projects and driving change within large, unionised organisations.

Day to day of the role:

  • Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close CEX projects end-to-end across the project management cycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet agreed KPIs.
  • Provide project management coaching and support to colleagues in departments managing small-scale business projects.
  • Manage all elements of project reporting and ensure alignment with client partners.
  • Support appropriate risk analysis, management, and reporting at the project level.
  • Fully document all Change Management processes.
  • Offer and provide support to other Project Managers and projects across the business to strengthen the project management community.
  • Undertake Safety Critical “contingency” responsibility, with training as a Train Manager or Manager Train Dispatcher.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience delivering projects focused on improving customer experience.
  • A track record of successfully delivering projects across large complex organisations.
  • Knowledge of project management processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of business change tools and techniques, including change management and process mapping.
  • Experience of working within a unionised environment is ideal.
  • Ability to facilitate, engage, and advise across different levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness.
  • Agile, responsive, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Ability to work across several projects in different subject areas as required.
  • Project Management Qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent, or working towards one.
