Bell Cornwall Recruitment are seeking to find and experienced Commercial Banking Lending Support Executive to support the Head of the new West Midlands Office of a global leader in commercial lending.
The Role:
- To support and assist the Head of Birmingham and the Birmingham Originations team to grow the loan book.
- Independently assess, evaluate, negotiate prepare and submit loan Applications to Credit, meeting the company lending requirements.
- Analyse financial and non-financial information as part of the credit application process.
- Assess, prepare and submit credit applications.
- Support and oversee deals from submission to completion, proactively chasing all parties
- Complete AML reviews.
- Support the BDM team, monitoring the loan book to minimise risk and seek opportunities to enhance income
- Understand and identify any sales opportunities to meet objectives
- Deliver first class customer service with efficient delivery through working with team members to ensure
- Effective execution and delivery of loan products to the customer base and prospects
- Attend customer meetings with managers when required
- Visit properties to review suitability as security
- Keep abreast with current market conditions and competitor activity, including attending networking events
- Propose changes to products and / or credit policy as appropriate.
