We are looking for a Data Integration & Reporting lead to assess the data landscape across nine manufacturing sites and develop a plan for integrating data into a single source of truth.

Each site currently operates on different ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central, NAV 2018, SAP ECC 5), leading to fragmented financial and customer data. The long-term goal is to centralise data using a Microsoft Fabric-based data warehouse, but first, we need a clear understanding of our existing capabilities, gaps, and business needs.

This 3-month contract will focus on:

  • Assessing how data is currently structured and used across different sites.
  • Identifying key challenges in financial and operational reporting.
  • Building a proof of concept (POC) using Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate.
  • Providing strategic recommendations for data integration and governance.
Key Responsibilities:1. Data Capability & System Assessment
  • Map out how financial and customer data is stored and used across sites.
  • Engage with finance, IT, and operational teams to understand key reporting pain points.
  • Identify data inconsistencies, manual processes, and reporting inefficiencies.
2. Proof of Concept (POC) & Technical Validation
  • Use Power BI to demonstrate how consolidated reporting could work.
  • Apply SQL to extract and standardise key data sets from different ERPs.
  • Explore Power Automate to reduce manual data handling.
3. Data Integration & Future Strategy
  • Define what data needs to be centralised for better financial and operational visibility.
  • Recommend an approach for transitioning towards a centralised Microsoft Fabric data warehouse.
  • Develop a roadmap for data governance and integration best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in data integration, strategy, or business intelligence consulting.
  • Strong Power BI and SQL skills for prototyping reporting improvements.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Business Central, NAV, SAP) and understanding how financial data is structured.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles (Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus).
  • Strong business engagement skills—able to speak with finance, IT, and operations teams to understand reporting needs.
Ideal Candidate:
  • A data strategist who can assess existing systems and recommend a path forward.
  • Someone with experience consolidating data across multiple ERPs.
