You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced educators who are dedicated to helping their students achieve academic and personal success.

This position is based at a school in Rubery. They are offering a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. You will be expected to teach across KS1, supporting them and delivering an engaging curriculum. This role can start in January 2025.

Together with a safe and stimulating learning environment, they offer a broad and well-rounded curriculum that allows kids to thrive. The ideal candidate will be able to lead exciting classes and employ a range of teaching techniques to ensure that children receive an engaging and advanced curriculum. They believe that all children should reach their full potential.

You will be required to:

  • Communicate professionally with all parents and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues to support curriculum development and efficient delivery of lessons.
  • Establish a safe, well-organised space that will guarantee each student receives the education they need.
  • Carefully organise and implement the curriculum in a creative and engaging way, to motivate and challenge the students.
  • Collaborate with educational leaders to monitor each child's development and, if necessary, create and implement individualised lesson plans for the students that require it.
  • Ensure that equal opportunities are implemented in the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Establish a structure for discipline and good order by utilising a variety of strategies in accordance with the behaviour policy of the school.

You will need to have:

  • Possess a recognised teaching qualification or qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a variety of teaching strategies.
  • Outstanding writing, active listening, and vocal communication skills.
  • Its preferable to have prior experience assisting students in a classroom.
  • An enhanced DBS or the desire to get one.
  • A dedication to making a positive impact to children’s education, self-esteem, and abilities.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
